Two months ago, President Obama  decided to greet Pope Francis with transgendered activists, the first gay Episcopal Bishop who is now already divorced, and activist Catholic nuns. The Vatican was not happy about it and is pushed back.

On the eve of Pope Francis’s arrival in the U.S., the Vatican has taken offense at the Obama administration’s decision to invite to the pope’s welcome ceremony transgender activists, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop and an activist nun who leads a group criticized by the Vatican for its silence on abortion and euthanasia.

The Obama Administration was no doubt thrilled to make a show of it and push a secularist, anti-Catholic agenda while embarrassing Pope Francis and putting the Pope in an awkward political position.

According to a senior Vatican official, the Holy See worried that any photos of the pope with these guests at the White House welcoming ceremony could be interpreted as an endorsement of their activities.

But Barack Obama would never do this if the Pope was a major trading partner, had a military, or was a totalitarian despot who snuffed out human rights activists.

This was, after all, the President of the United States who sent the Dalai Lama out the back door with the trash so as not to offend the Chinese.

This is the President who turned his back on the Iranian Green Revolution so he could do business with Iran’s totalitarian dictators.

The Chinese Premier is coming for a state visit. What are the odds that the President will greet him with Tibetan dissidents and Taiwanese freedom protestors. What are the odds there will be any there who fled after Tiananmen? I put the odds and slightly less than zero.

Then, of course, there are the Cubans. The President did nothing to work to improve the situation of Cuban human rights activists in jail. He turned a blind eye to them while trying to improve relations with that totalitarian regime.

But the Pope? Oh, we can greet the Pope with transgendered activists, gay rights activists, and Catholics who disagree with the Pope on Catholic doctrine. That’s really standing up to power and speaking truth!!

President Obama, in fact, is only willing to stand up and speak truth when it costs him nothing. He’s never met a totalitarian he wasn’t willing to kneel in front of.

Oh, I’m sure some people are going to be outraged at me by saying that. Except it was not me. It was all but said by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk ( a town and the administrative center of Volokolamsky District, Russia, 129 kilometers northwest of Moscow) to the participants at the Synod on the Family in the Vatican.

Metropolitan Hilarion is from the Russian Orthodox Church and addressed the assembled clerics at the synod. In his address, he included this bit:

departure of Pope Francis from the USA, President Barack Obama openly declared that gay rights are more important than religious freedom. This clearly testifies to the intention of the secular authorities to continue their assault on those healthy forces in society which defend traditional family values.''

You can deny the implication all you want and you will be wrong. But before you decide this is just Russian propaganda, consider his overall message. He actually called on the Catholic Church to be as Catholic in their doctrine as possible to uphold the family.

That wasn’t Russian propaganda. It was a strongly orthodox . . . well . . . Orthodox priest calling out the President of the United States for telling Pope Francis to his face that the President values religious freedom only to openly declare “that gay rights are more important than religious freedom” after the Pope left U.S. airspace

21 Years Old....it's Time They Grew up !

Global Warming Alarmists are about to finish in Paris for the biggest climate carnival in their 21 year history – they hosted 25,000 official guests and 15,000 hangers on. Surely on their 21st birthday it is time they grew up and faced some adult world problems.

Any urchin on the streets of Paris today could tell buffoons like Ban Ki-moon and Barack Obama that the “biggest security threat facing the world today” is NOT a miniscule increase in atmospheric plant food (CO2), caused mainly by gentle natural global warming which has triggered minor outgassing from the oceans and lots of extra crop production.

Just recapping:  For greenhouse gases there has been a “selective scrutiny of evidence” to support Climate Change alarm. There is no evidence CO2 has determined climate in the past or that it could do so in the future. Just as there was needless alarm over the 37 year cooling from 1940 when CO2 was rising there is now unwarranted public alarm over a threat of dangerous global warming.
 
Australia should save the $3 billion plus spent annually supporting renewable energy programs. The heavy burden of these costs falls on taxpayers, business and households.

No Australian post-2020 emissions reduction target could be justified unless emission-free energy can be produced at a cost competitive with traditional energy suppliers.

I am not a scientist, so I merely note that David Evans is publishing work which he says explains the failure of the world to heat as the climate models predicted. And he says cooling is coming.

Climate Change Facts DROWN !

I was just thinking how I doubt journalists even register the warming scares they mindlessly repeat. Never ask themselves whether the scares are remotely credible.
 
For instance, here is what the latest ''disaster porn'' from a green group’s study claims - and note the caveat:

Carbon emissions causing 4 degrees Celsius of warming ... could lock in enough eventual sea level rise to submerge land currently home to 470 to 760 million people globally…  

The sea levels described could possibly, but with low probability, occur sooner than 200 years from now (Kopp et al. 2014), or be reached as far as 2,000 years in the future(Levermann et al. 2013).

So this could take 2000 years to manifest itself, provided the atmosphere suddenly warms by 4 degrees after essentially no warming for 18 years. This is shameful and bloody ridiculous!
But here is how news.com.au, a hotbed of alarmism in the Murdoch media reported this same survey:

''This means major cities such as London, New York, Shanghai and Sydney could end up underwater by 2100 — if we don’t change our ways.''

How could a journalist write such garbage, both inherently ludicrous and unsupported by the evidence of the very report being quoted? Even SKY NEWS got into the pushing to fear:

 ''Pacific Island nations are in grave danger of disappearing if a global pact against greenhouse gases fails.''

No, contrary to what almost every journalist on the subject claims, global warming is not drowning Pacific islands, and many of these same islanders feel the same.  From the respected Pacific Institute of Public Policy:

An increasing number of atoll studies are not supporting claims of Pacific island leaders that “islands are sinking.” Scientific studies published this year show, for example, that land area in Tuvalu’s capital atoll of Funafuti grew seven percent over the past century despite significant sea level rise. Another study reported that 23 of 27 atoll islands across Kiribati, Tuvalu and the Federated States of Micronesia either increased in area or remained stable over recent decades.

Speaking about Kiribati, Canadian climatologist Simon Donner commented in the Scientific American: ‘Right now it is clear that no one needs to immediately wall in the islands or evacuate all the inhabitants. What the people of Kiribati and other low-lying countries need instead are well-thought-out, customized adaption plans and consistent international aid — not a breathless rush for a quick fix that makes the rest of the world feel good but obliges the island residents to play the part of helpless victim.’

These same climate scientists who are conducting ongoing research in Tuvalu, Kiribati and the Marshall Islands acknowledge the documented fact of sea level rise in the Pacific, and the potential threat this poses. But they are making the point, as articulated by Donner, that ‘the politicized public discourse on climate change is less nuanced than the science of reef islands.’

A recent report carried in Geology, the publication of the Geological Society of America, says Tuvalu has experienced ‘some of the highest rates of sea level rise over the past 60 years.’ At the same time, ‘no islands have been lost, the majority have enlarged, and there has been a 7.3 percent increase in net island area over the past century.’

And while the politics of Climate Change preaches this bullshit, I hear there is a raising tide of un-believers developing around the world that can give Sceptics like me and hundreds of honest scientists hope to crush this hoax eventually and free the people of fear.

That helps explain what has happened in Rosengard, a suburb of Malmo, Sweden’s third-largest city 80 kilometres from Astorp: more than 80 per cent of residents speak Arabic. Most of them on welfare benefits, sucking Sweden dry.....yet never grateful but always feeling superior and angry.

Warmist Media Drown in Untruths about Sinking Islands !

It’s the story that never dies, no matter how often honest scientists show that most coral Pacific Islands are NOT drowning but growing or stable.

Australia's own Channel 9 now pushes the hoax scare that Obama ridiculously stated last week while playing bosom buddies with Bear Gryllss in the Alaska wild:

Situated 130km north of Anchorage, Kivalina, (see photo) which sits barely three metres above sea level, diminishes with every storm that hits… Kivalina has become a cause celebre in Barack Obama’s stupid attempts to combat climate change. ''

''Meanwhile in the Pacific, the residents of places like the Maldives, Kirabati, and the Marshall Islands also face maritime oblivion, prompting the first trickle of what will surely become a deluge of climate refugees.''

Watts Up With That explains why the Kivalina story is pure bull, and has more to do with the nature of barrier islands and poorly designed sea walls:

The fact remains, however, that just as with Shishmaref and Newtok, the cause of the problems are human actions, although they have nothing to do with CO2. All three villages are in ridiculously unstable, shifting, dangerous locations for the same reason—they were rounded up and forced to settle there.

As for the Pacific islands, how often does the truth need to be told before journalists stop ignoring it? The truth is that most have been growing in size or stayed stable:

New Zealand coastal geomorphologist Paul Kench, of the University of Auckland’s School of Environment, and colleagues in Australia and Fiji, ...  found that reef islands change shape and move around in response to shifting sediments, and that many of them are growing in size, not shrinking, as sea level inches upward. The implication is that many islands—especially less developed ones with few permanent structures—may cope with rising seas well into the next century. 

Their analysis, which now extends to more than 600 coral reef islands in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, indicates that about 80 per cent of the islands have remained stable or increased in size (roughly 40 per cent in each category). Only 20 per cent have shown the net reduction that’s widely assumed to be a typical island’s fate when sea level rises. 

Some islands grew by as much as 14 acres (5.6 hectares) in a single decade, and Tuvalu’s main atoll, Funafuti—33 islands distributed around the rim of a large lagoon—has gained 75 acres (32 hectares) of land during the past 115 years.

 As for Kiribati, the big problem is not global warming but over-crowding and thoughtless development:

But 2,000 miles to the west in South Tarawa, Kiribati’s narrow, six-square-mile capital island crowded with 50,000 people, the picture is much darker. Over the past half-century, residents of the 15 other Gilbert Islands have flocked there in search of jobs and better schools for their children… To minimize flooding, they built poorly designed seawalls that regularly collapse. Meanwhile, the government increased South Tarawa’s area by 19 per cent over 30 years by building causeways between islets and creating new land over the reef with lagoon sand poured behind seawalls. The widespread erosion and flooding that resulted “is primarily due to [local] human activities,” which unless stopped will “increase erosion and susceptibility of the reef islands to anticipated sea-level rise,” one study concluded.

Global warming seems to give journalists licence to suppress the truth and even tell outright untruths.

Obama's Warming Fraud Goes on Without Question !

While ''roughing it'' with Bear Grylls on his reality show in Alaska this idiot spruiks:

''If we do nothing, Alaskan temperatures are projected to rise between six and twelve degrees (3.3C to 6.7C) by the end of the century.''

In fact, we have seen no significant warming of the atmosphere now for 18+ years, according to satellite observations, and even the alarmist Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates global temperatures under its controversial models to rise only between 0.3C and 4.8 C by 2100.

The increase of global mean surface temperature by the end of the 21st century (2081–2100) relative to 1986–2005 is likely to be 0.3°C to 1.7°C under RCP2.6, 1.1°C to 2.6°C under RCP4.5, 1.4°C to 3.1°C under RCP6.0 and 2.6°C to 4.8°C under RCP8.59

Not only did the press corps fail to call him out on that bull, not one reporter asked the obvious follow up question: so if we did Obama’s “something” instead, how much of that warming would be avoided?

The answer is so pathetically small that the President would be exposed as not just a fantasist but a fraud and be exposed as the laughing-stock he is. And I guess no journalist trailing him would want that. Not when he’s speaking about global warming, the topic that gives every Warmist Schmuck and Green-asshole a licence to lie.

Hungary's Prime Minister Tells it Like it Is.......

With a bluntness shocking to the secular media, but in a way which I suspect will prove prophetic:

The Hungarian prime minister argued that European countries had no obligation to accept most of the migrants, as “the overwhelming majority of people are not refugees because they are not coming from a war-stricken area."

Mr. Orban went on to invoke Hungary’s historical experience as part of the Ottoman Empire, which ended more than three centuries ago, as an explanation for its current opposition to Muslim immigrants. “I have to say that when it comes to living together with Muslim communities, we are the only ones who have experience because we had the possibility to go through that experience for 150 years.''

“We don’t want to criticize France, Belgium, any other country,” he said, but “we think all countries have a right to decide whether they want to have a large number of Muslims in their countries. If they want to live together with them, they can. We don’t want to and I think we have a right to decide that we do not want a large number of Muslim people in our country.''

''In conclusion:  We do not like the consequences of having a large number of Muslim communities that we see in other countries, and I do not see any reason for anyone else to force us to create ways of living together in Hungary that we do not want to see.”

It is not a pretty message. However, the consequences of ignoring it could be far uglier.

Europe no longer has the will to protect its borders

Trains carrying hundreds of migrants started arriving in Vienna on Monday after Austrian authorities appeared to give up trying to apply European Union rules by filtering out refugees who had already claimed asylum in Hungary.

In the latest twist in a humanitarian and political crisis that is now testing the survival of both Europe’s open-border regime and its asylum rules, Hungary allowed the migrants, many of them fleeing Syria’s civil war, to cram into at least four trains leaving Budapest for Austria or Germany.

 Many of the refugees arriving in Vienna railway station on Monday evening immediately raced to board trains heading on to Germany, as policemen looked on passively, preferring not to intervene, witnesses said.

 Germany, crippled by the legacy of World War 2, will feel morally unable to deploy the army to send more unwanted people away by train. This is why Chancellor Angela Merkel is attacking her own citizens as racist rather than resist the invaders who alarm them. It is all she dare do.

And as its population of Third World illegal immigrants grows, Germany - like the rest of Europe - will find it even more dangerous to intervene in the Third World wars that are feeding this great invasion, for fear of a tribal backlash on its own streets.
 
Europe a century from now will be very, very different - dangerously unmoored from the culture that produced its freedom and its wealth.

I was just thinking.....like all other civilisations which lost their nerve and the will to live, European Christianity is destined to become a minority in its own territory.

I am shocked and angry on the silence of feminists World-wide on the Islamic State’s sex slaves. Not a peep out of these self-absorbed beings. I get it:


Once you understand that feminism isn’t about equality, or even really about women, but rather about keeping women agitated and aggrieved so that they’ll (1) read women’s publications, and (2) vote socialist, it all makes sense. Shame on you girls.

Even worse, you might make a not dissimilar point about the silence of our gay lobby and the Australian Greens about the Islamic State’s murder of gays. Beheadings, stonings and thrown off tall buildings is their fate but not a peep out of these either. Shame !


I find that these types have it so good pushing their agenda on us regular folks in the West that the mere thought that they are not tolerated in more than half the world produces a spineless attitude.

Leftist Filth Burn Aussie Flag in Support of Islamic Filth !

......does the Left have any morality to call it's own?

Demonstrators clashed today in Bendigo over the proposal to build a large Mosque with the capacity to accommodate up to two thousand religious adherents, in a city that has only a small handful of practicing Muslims.

The protest culminated with the burning of an Australian flag – a predictable cliche of leftist demonstrations.

One of the most disturbing angles on this event, is the question of why leftist and socialist groups have been so invested in defending Islamism, when their values appear to be so diametrically opposed.

Whether one considers the rights of women, or the rights of homosexuals (the purported bread and butter issues of the so-called ‘progressive’ left), Islam and progressive politics go together like oil and water.

 So what is going on here?

The burning of the Australian flag provides us with an answer. Following the teaching of Marx and his disciples, the uncomfortable fact is it’s the Left’s goal to destroy society as we know it, in order to build a new society and utopia. Like the shithouse society's of Soviet Russia, North Korea, and Cuba.

The left and Islamism are united by their burning hatred of Christianity and Western Culture, and their goal to destroy both. The left, clouded by it’s idealism naively sees Islam as a tool, and seeks to harness it as a weapon in its own plan.

Make no mistake, the left and Islam are completely and utterly at odds. Islamic leaders are quite open about their despising of the modern, progressive West, yet are happy to use the left as useful idiots in the meantime. If Islam ever manages to conquer the West, their leftists allies will be the first to have their heads separated from the rest of their bodies.

The left is not as open about the fact that their values are so at odds with that of Islam, but my hunch is with the loosening and lubrication of a few drinks after socialist alternative meetings, their true feelings and distaste of Islam is exposed. Should the left manage to overthrow Western civilisation, they will then have to contend with the spectre of Islam, a battle which they will be utterly unable to win.

The alliance between the left and Islamism can be summed up with the old proverb that ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend.’

I seem to remember back in 2004, when the Coalition government amended the Marriage Act to make it clear that marriage consists of a union between a man and a woman, Labor’s shadow attorney-general, Nicola Roxon, made it clear that Labor, as a party, supported that… The Bill passed without a vote being called.

So where is Prime Minister Tony Abbott's stand on the looming “marriage equality” scam? Has he explained that the cashed-up gay lobby intends to trash the Marriage Act and render everyone of us as “persons” and delete all references to a “man and a woman”, a “bride and a groom”? Stick that in your bloody plebiscite and see how it goes!

It's disgusting to see the gay underbelly as nasty and violent as any fanatical sub-normal lynch mob. Just seeing Q&A last night where the American panellist said that there needs to be more discussion about children and other aspects to this rather than a rush to judgement like the Americans who

allowed the Supreme Court to usurp the Constitution. And sure enough right away that scumbag Sam Dastayari and the Green prick Richard di Natale attacks her.

It was atheist Brendon O’Neill who called out the ugly intolerance and hate-filled narrative of the gay marriage ‘progressives’ and makes a strong case for traditional Christian morality. Bravo Sir!
Freedom is being curtailed for any Australian coming out with just saying they believe in the original idea of marriage between and man and a woman and want the Marriage Act to remain but with a separate accommodation so gays can conjoin in a Civil Union?

An innocent comment, but no, ''you're a homophobe for saying that'' the gay lobby yells! The intimidation is sickening and the longer this yammering continues I feel most of the 98% will become homophobic....that is: afraid of what they'll do once they get all the power they want (read about the disgraceful goings on now in Canada and the U.S.).

Listen, I was just thinking we need more time to have a respectful discussion about this complex issue, which is what our Prime Minister is trying to do. And when we do, then the government should let the people decide by referendum or plebiscite......not the politicians.

 

The NEW DARK AGES, where the Perfectly Normal are Branded Bigots

Something terrifying has happened during the past five years: a belief that was held by virtually all human beings for centuries has been rebranded as bigotry, something that may no longer be expressed in polite society.

That belief is that marriage is something that occurs between a man and a woman, or between a man and many women: the idea that marriage is a union of opposite sexes.

This was once seen as a perfectly normal point of view. Now, in the historical blink of an eye, it has been denormalised, and with such ferocity and speed that anyone still brave enough to express it runs the risk of being ejected from public life.

Consider the ABC’s Q&A this week, and the furious response to it. The show was unusual from the get-go because it featured not one but two gay-marriage sceptics: Katy Faust, an American Christian, and me, a godless Brit.

I made the argument that gay marriage now seemed to play the same role God played 200 years ago: anyone who didn’t believe in it hadn’t a hope in hell of getting ahead in public life.

There was a chokingly conformist climate, I said, with critics of gay marriage facing demonisation, harassment and, in some cases, expulsion from decent society. Consider Brendan Eich being sacked as chief executive of Mozilla for his belief in traditional marriage. Or all those Christian cake shops beleaguered by gay-rights activists demanding that they make gay cakes. Twenty-first century religious persecution.

The response to my comments, on Twitter and in parts of the media, proved my point. It can be summed up as: “How dare you say that the gay-marriage campaign is intolerant, you bigoted arsehole?! Get out of Oz!”  Irony doesn’t even begin to cover this.

Labor Senator Sam Dastyari, also on the Q&A panel, accused Faust of being “hateful” and talking “Christian evangelical claptrap”. Yet all she said was that marriage should be between a man and a woman and children had a right to know both their father and their mother.

The demonization of Faust shows how thoroughly the Christian viewpoint has been turned into a kind of hate speech. Something that was a standard outlook a few years ago is now treated as a pathology.
And as a liberal — small L — I find it deeply troubling that a moral outlook can be so swiftly put beyond the pale, branded “INAPPROPRIATE”.

Then there was Twitter, which went into meltdown over Faust’s and my comments. We’re bigots, haters, scumbags, “vomiting our bile”; we should be sent packing.

You know what? Scrap my comparison of gay marriage to God: 200 years ago, in developed Western countries, even the godless had a better chance of getting ahead than gay-marriage sceptics do today.
Are Faust’s views really so controversial? Most people would back the idea that kids should ideal­ly know their biological mum and dad.

Indeed, adopted children often seek out their biological parents, believing it will help them make sense of who they are. Maybe they’re bigots, too?

The response to Q&A shows that gay marriage is not a liberal issue. Rather, what we have here is the further colonisation of public life by an elite strata of society — the chattering class — and the vigorous expulsion of all those who do not genuflect to their orthodoxies. Whether you’re a climate-change denier, a multiculturalism sceptic or, the lowest of the low, someone who believes in trad­itional marriage, you’re clearly mad and must be cast out.

The social impact of this illiberal liberalism will be dire.
A whole swath of society — the old, the religious, the traditionalist — will feel like moral lepers in their own country, silencing themselves lest they, too, be branded scum.

One thing we have learned is that some murders in the U.S. are important and others aren’t. White policeman kills black person: important! Black person kills white policeman: unimportant. White lunatic kills black people in South Carolina: important! Gay black lunatic kills white people in Virginia: something tells me this one is going in the “unimportant” column. It doesn’t advance the narrative. Except, of course, the gun control narrative. Pathetic isn't it ???

On the other side of the coin:  If gay men aren't attracted to women, then why are they attracted to men who behave like women ? Mmmmmm ..... never thought of that one eh?

Strange...how they tell us they are proud to be different and yet...... Opposites Attract.   Such is Life !
